The Stokke Step Bouncers are a component of the Stokke Steps all-in-one modular seating system. This bouncer works with the Stokke Steps Chair for babies from birth to about six months. The bouncers have a plastic arm and fabric seat, measuring 31" X 25" X 21".

Only Stokke Steps Bouncers with one of the following item numbers (by color) and with a serial number found at https://reclamations.stokke.com/stepsbouncer are part of this recall. The item and serial numbers are located on the label under the bouncer seat frame.

Concern/Hazard


The Bouncer portion of the product can detach from the Stokke Steps Chair (sold separately), which creates a falling hazard to a baby strapped in the bouncer.

Confirmed Incidents


There has been one report of attachment difficulties but no children have been injured.

Remedy


Consumers should stop using the Stokke Steps Bouncer in combination with the Stokke Steps Chair immediately. The company is offering a repair kit for this problem.
